2012-Your Summer With Hope Equals
If third time's the charm, then charmed you will be. This is the third year we hope to send a group on the Hope Equals Summer Adventure, and it just keeps getting better every time. Using what we have learned in two years, what our alumni have told us, and what our partners recommended, we tweaked and pulled and changed the schedule to offer the best five-week experience yet. Make no mistake, this experience beats watching the news, reading the books, and attending the conferences. There's nothing like walking the land, meeting the people, and hearing the stories.
You could spend summer of 2012 with Hope Equals on a five-week adventure in Israel and the West Bank. Meet the leaders spearheading the reconciliation movement and follow them on a tour of their work. Then learn even more when you volunteer for them. Tour the Holy Land and talk to the people living there—on both sides.
While we would love to take everyone, we only have room for 15 students, and spaces will fill up soon. Send a completed application to contact@hopeequals.org: USA application or Canada application
Trip dates are June 11-July 13, 2012.
The final cost will be posted as soon as it is finalized but typical cost of this five-week adventure is $4,000. Price includes orientation, all ground transportation, guides in Israel and the West Bank, admission to all sites visited, lodging for five weeks, half board (breakfast and dinner), and other trip related expenses.
