See for yourself. Hope Equals invites you to join us on a summer adventure. We will talk to many of the leaders at the forefront of the peace and reconciliation efforts on both the Israeli and the Palestinian side. We will tour their organizations and visit the most important sites for Christians, Jews and Muslims. The last two weeks of the trip we will volunteer for one of these groups and have a direct hand in helping them with their work.

Capacity: While we’d love to take you all, space is limited to 25 students this summer. So, apply now.

Length of trip: 5 weeks in country (dates to be determined) plus orientation and travel.

Cost per person: to be determined.

Cost includes: orientation, pre-trip materials, accommodations, breakfast, dinner, ground transportation, translators, travel, health and evacuation insurance, exit taxes, all administrative and program expenses.

Cost doesn’t include: airfare, passports, immunizations, lunches, laundry or souvenirs.

Requirements:

1. Participants must be at least 18 years of age (no exceptions).

2. Participants must be enrolled or have just graduated from a college, university or seminary program.

3. Participants must be physically fit and able to walk at least five miles per day in extreme heat, carrying their own water. This is trip is physically demanding. Travel includes mountain, city and desert hikes.

4. A police background check will be required (no exceptions).

5. Applications submitted will be individually reviewed and considered for an interview which will then determine the applicant’s placement on a team.
